When choosing to protect PDF files with encryption, you can choose different levels of permissions so users’ actions are limted.
Here’s what each option for PDF File Permission allows:
- View – allows your customers to view the PDF, but not print or copy the contents to their clipboard to paste elsewhere.
- Print – allows for viewing and printing, but not copying the contents to their clipboard to paste elsewhere.
- Copy – allows the viewing, and copying the contents to their clipboard to paste elsewhere.
- All – allows all of the above.
